The company's integrated ecosystem is becoming a key driver of customer activity, with shopping, payments, credit offerings and loyalty benefits reinforcing one another. The second quarter of 2026 highlighted this trend, as more customers embraced multiple services within MercadoLibre's ecosystem.

MELI’s Investment Case

MercadoLibre’s strong e-commerce momentum, expanding cross-border trade and growing fintech ecosystem reinforce its long-term growth prospects. Rising user engagement, robust advertising growth and credit portfolio expansion remain key positives, strengthening its competitive position across Latin America. However, margin compression stemming from strategic investments, higher logistics costs and softer consumer demand in certain markets warrant caution. MELI currently carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).
